Links

Of course a links page must be included, and when I find a good link I will add it here.

Moshix Youtube Channel
This link is a very good source of information to mainframes, especially the system I am running.
From MVS 3.8J up to z/OS, z/VM and VM/370. Also some DEC and CRAY 1.
Please subscribe.

Discord Chat Channel
If you need instant help, or just a chat about mainframes, go take a look at our Moshix Discord Chat Channel. Its free!

Computer History Archives Project
This youtube channel has very good very old movies about mainframes of all kinds. Nice to watch with a cold beer.

KICKS
This cannot be missed, the site of the creator of KICKS, with a wealth of knowledge. Please read very very carefully the instructions, because it is there what you are looking for!
Or go directly to the User Guide.

MVSOPS
Yes, finally an php solution what helps me (or you) to communicate with the mainframe via a web based solution. Enter MVSOPS. While some people like to tinker themselves, Andy, the creator did an amazing job of making a toolkit for online system management. Console, printer, tapes, and jcl. Its all there. The printer feature is awesome, since we want to print reports from our system, and to pdf what looks like an old fanfold printout. Highlt recommended is you run a LAMP, and give the man a mail with a thank you.

Online BMS tool
This handy free online tool lets you create a BMS map, and enter fieldnames and generate s simple skeleton for your screen definitions.
Highly recommended!

Geronimo370
A blog from Gerard, where he collects a lot of usefull MVS TK4 wisedom. Also his other interests can be found there.

Virtual Key Punch
Type and download your personal punch cards! As it was done in the old days. Just for fun.
